HOPE OUTDOORS
Hunting for Disabled Children

We at the Searcy Chapter of Hope Outdoors are proud to be hosting a special event for disabled children at CUZ and CUZ Wild Boar Ranch on September 8th & 9th in Pangburn Arkansas. Hunters and their families will be arriving to Searcy on the evening of the 7th around 6:30pm.  We will be hosting three hunters and their families for this three-day event. The children have been chosen by Hope Outdoors, either through an application process or on the recommendation of another individual. Hope Outdoors' Searcy Chapter is sponsoring 3 Events this year in Arkansas. A lot of these children dream of being able to go fishing and hunting and we hope to take them away from their problems for a few hours and make those dreams a reality while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them and their families.

We need your help to make this a successful event for these children and their families. Therefore, we are asking for donations of $25, $50, or $100 (or more if you are able) to support our efforts to help these children. If you would like to make a donation, please make your check payable to Hope Outdoors' Searcy Chapter and mark it for CUZ and CUZ Wild Boar Hunters? in the enclosed envelope.  All donations will go toward funding the event to support these hunters & their families for the three-day hunt, the cost of the Wild Boar and the taxidermy.

Hope Outdoors

Hope Outdoors is a vessel through which many people are being transformed: whether it is a child who is held back by a terminal illness, or a physical or mental disability, the process of helping this person forget about all that surrounds them for a weekend, is priceless. To see captives, those wrapped up with the extra needs and equipment that their daily life requires, be set free to laugh, live, and love. To impart hope into the hearts and minds of children and adults- that is why Hope Outdoors exists and we do this through Hunting & Fishing!

On a personal note, our son Joseph is one of those whose lives have been changed by Hope Outdoors. Joseph is 16 and has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He loves Hunting and Fishing, like most boys his age. This has been a great tool for Joe to enjoy the outdoors. My husband and I have been so touched by this wonderful program that we have joined Hope Outdoors. If you would like to learn more or know someone who could benefit from this great ministry, please contact Chapter Leaders, Paul & Christy Parsons at 501-278-4856 or 501-593-2258.
